Street Tree Planting Events
On December 7, 2024, six volunteers from Happy Valley neighborhood planted a dozen trees throughout Happy Valley including Paperbark Maple, Silver Maple “Snowcone,” Kousa Dogwood, Persian Parrotia, and Incense Cedars.
On December 9, 2023, volunteers from Happy Valley neighborhood and Whatcom Million Trees Project planted 22 street trees along McKenzie, Larrabee, and Mill Sts.
