Housing
Kulshan Community Land Trust strengthens community by holding land in trust for permanently affordable homeownership and other community needs, and by offering financial and educational services to people of limited means.
In practice this means we acquire or build homes, coordinate the investment of public and private dollars to subsidize those homes, and make them affordable to community members who earn between 50-80% of the area median income. Our program allows first-time homebuyers of modest means a way to build equity and benefit from homeownership in an affordable way.
KulshanCLT has 14 at Matthei Place in Happy Valley and 5 others scattered throughout the neighborhood, for a total of 19.
